ALWAYS observe your dog when he/she is chewing on any toy or treat. If the antler/s become splintered or cracked, are too small, too sharp etc. - throw them away. If you have a very hard chewer, be sure to monitor closely with any treats/toys. In some cases elk antlers are not the ideal chew toy for some dogs. Since you are responsible for the well being of your dog, you must decide if they are safe to give to your pet. For example: If you have an older dog, or one with a history of soft teeth or injury to the mouth do not select hard chew toys for your dog. If you have any questions or concerns, always contact your veterinarian. Creekside Kennels German Shepherds is not responsible for any possible type of injury (or any associated costs) related to the antler chews or any treat/food etc.
